Reef tunnels and caves....talk and pics

My tunnels are made up of huge PVC tubes that I foamed up and placed rock over...You can see from one side of the tank all the way to the other.

I also have tubes that stretch across the back of the reef....one has a k3 pointing into it to get flow behind the reef....kind of hard to get a pic of that one though.

My tunnels and caves are just made with rocks. I got plenty of them though. Probably easiest to see when I didn't have stuff on it yet (see link to my tank evolution thread in my signature)
Everybody loves the caves and tunnels! No reef should be without them :)

It started as a hole just large enough to put my finger in, and when I realized it was hollow I created a cave with a hammer and screwdriver

great job everyone!

in my tank, rather than have a cave or two, i created an elevated flat level by using some rock as columns and stacking flat rocks on top. this provided a large cave under the entire right stack of rocks. i wanted to do this so i would have plenty of room to put nps corals in the caves and the multiple openings allow the water to flow thru the cave area as well
