I Have about 20 little half calms that look like baby abalones. I think it came out of some chaeto I put in my tank. Dose anyone know what these are. There sort of cute. I keep cleaning around them. I'm afraid I'll forget and knock them off.

How big are they? Out in the day or night, or both? Do they move?
They kind of look like nerite snail eggs...have any of those snails?

Yes they do have shells on the other side. Is this how colonista snails start off? I'll try to give you a better picture.

collonistas look like tiny turbo snails (roundish shell)
I have a blog post about them including a pic of one of my adults:

At night my rocks and glass are covered with thousands of the babies. About the same size and color as what your picture shows but little round shells (like the adults) so shell shape will be crucial in ID-ing.

They look more like the Stomatella, but I noticed they don't move. The little buggers just grow in place. Maybe there just lazy.

if they dont move, they are likely vermetid snails. these will grow on the rock or on the glass.

I just saw these in person yesterday. They are snails eggs.
