I got two koralia evolution 1400 pumps and a reef keeper lite controller. When I get them up and running, I will post my timing setup and a video of them in action. For now a few pics of the new parts.

Everything is looking good so far. I'm running a 7 sec. timing right now.

No noise at all, well nothing you can hear. Uploading video now, you can hear in the video a clicking. That is the sound of the relays in the RKL, so I'm very happy. With overflow and everything, the relays are the loudest.

Sweet. I should have waited for these to be available but, I got impatient and went with the mp40.

I guess I could get a pair of the smaller ones to go with the LED light you posted the other day. I figure it would be a good excuse to get another tank right?

I would like to add that these evolution 1400's are alittle smaller then my K2, and more GPH then a K4. Plus the 1400 uses 6w versue K4's 8.5w.

Thats exactly what I was wondering. I was just searching the web for that info.

I think a K2 is 2 7/8 x 5 7/8 and a 1400 is 2.5 x 5.5

Jack - you need to jusorder some. They are smaller, less power, and shaftless. Cool stuff for not a lot of money.

Only says, Timer can be used. Nothing about time limit, I think the symbol just caused a bunch of confusion.

I'm happy with them aswell. The power of a k4 but the size of a k2

Yeah I know.. Isn't it more powerful. I thought the k4 is 950gph. The controllable aspects is also a plus.. Now I want another one..
