Hello Polly's! Glad to see you here. :) You are my kids' favorite fish store because you have bunnies :)

I've gotten some very nice service at your store (THANK YOU, A.!) and it's so convenient to be able to get hardware transferred from the second store.

Here goes a question, when did Polly's open? I can remember back to 1982 when I bought an anenemoe and clownfish. But was short lived when my mother went ballistic when salt spray got on her walls, so back to fresh until 1991. Welcome to MAAST.

Very cool to see you on MAAST, I know you have been redoing your frag tanks. Any special stocking plans?

I know of No specific plans for stocking. I know we are working in getting in more ORA corals and other sps, as well as some more variety and higher end/quality stuff. Randy can pop in probably W/ more exact info if you want.

I know randy has been working on getting more ORA SPS, but I would love to see more LPS. It was nice to see some nice acans in the frag tank, very cool.

When we lost one of a pair of pacus (freshwater) we took the other lonely fella over to Pollys to live in your huge wall tank... We hated to see him go, but he had already grown too big for our 125 tank and just looked too lonely in there by himself.

We used to go by and see him, but he's been gone a while now..thanks Polly's for giving "chopper" a new home to enjoy his twilight years... :bighug:

I remember "Chopper" fondly! It was good because he was with a buddy Pacu from another customer the same size...so he spent his golden years with a friend! After they passed, we felt so attached that we couldn't do PACU's anymore...so we filled that tank up with Tetra's...lol. Sounds horrible right! Actually, turns out that with a lot of room and big schools...those Tetra's look GREAT! Their colors really show. Thanks for tha Amazonian Memories!

As far as ordering coral and SWF livestock...it's an art I am always trying to perfect! The more input I get from folks like you...the better I can be at it! So thanks!

actually I agree. I am not sure what it is but your lighting over the coral tank really does not showcase them as well as it could.
I do like all of the aquacultured/ORA stuff though!

Yea, we have two 14K halide lights on that setup with a 20K in the center...switching to all 20ks would pop em out a little more, but I get a little more growth with the 14's. I'll keep it in mind though.
