Tank Made BY: ?????? Need your help..

Hello Everyone, :)

Have a question...

We recently purchased a used tank setup in excellent condition. We want to have it drilled but there is nothing "Sticker" wise that says "Tempered glass DO NOT DRILL". :Timeout::Timeout: lol.. If not its ok.. :bigsmile:

On the contrary there is a sticker that says who the maker and when the tank was made. This is where my question comes in?????? I have searched hi & low to no avail. Can someone help us out? :shades:


Sticker says: Made in 2005 by V.D. with an anchor as a symbol.. Anyone know who this maker is?

I think the anchor symbol is Perfecto.

Not sure about whether the glass is tempered though. If there is no sticker, it could just be that it has been removed. I know some tanks have the front and back panel tempered too. I saw one get busted on the front panel (while empty) and it was definitely tempered.

It is definitely Perfecto by Marineland. If you check their site they have a section that has tank specs and tells you what is tempered on your tank. I have one as well and had to check before I drilled my tank.

Sorry, I missed the sticker. I should have looked harder. I like the polarized lens idea.

But it's Marineland. It doesn't say perfecto anywhere on the site.
