I just picked up a calcium reactor, and I wanted to know where people are running theirs (in the sump, or externally) and what they're using to feed water to the reactor (gravity, split off the return line, mini-jet, etc.). Mine's a Knopp C, rated for 200 gals, so I don't think I need anything major, but I'd love any advice.

I use a MJ1200 to feed mine.

I've got that exact model. Had it for over 8 years, so it's pretty reliable.

I have a 1/4" take off on my return line and feed the effluent back into the sump. I positioned the reactor outlet line near the water return lines to help against ph lowering.

A tom's aqua lifter with a pre-filter would work also too.
