what are best things to add i just added some polyps was wondering what else i should add i use essential elements and tlc i also dose with purple up

First question is what do you test for? Don't add what you aren't lacking.

I dont really use additives anymore. They work I am sure but my weekly water changes keep things pretty good when I test so I weened myself off. I used "amino something" from brightwell. Now I will be the first to say even though my corals seem healthy I dont have the growth other tanks have. I also use 20k lights which is probably a large part of that. I know there are some people that use quite a bit of additives so they might chime in for you and explain a little more.

I try and use the KISS principle with my tank and am not here every weekend so I dont want to get my tank dependant on something and them leave it for 4-5 days without.
