I am looking for pictures from both web and charter members to use in our monthly newsletter.

Submit your pics with a description in this thread! :)

note: please keep in mind that by posting your pic you will be giving MAAST permission to use your photo for educational purposes now and in the future. :) You will receive credit when pic is used.

They will be allowed to play as long as they are "not" the subject of any future POTM contests for 2010.. You can see the calendar for the rest of the year here.

I just took this pic and was happy with how it turned out. This is one of my favorite acan lord's. I got this frag from JoelB, the top polyp is around 1-1 1/4". They are kept under Cree led's, picture taken with a Sony XR-200 video cam.

This is one of my favorites.. This is one of my fav. dendro's. I believe it is a jumbo, but not sure. Picture was taken about a month ago, now the large polyp is around 1 1/2". This guy will eat a whole cube at a time if you let it. Kept under Cree led's, picture taken with a Sony XR-200 video cam.

Not sure if these will work... apparently at work I'm somewhat limited in what I'm capable of.

T-5 set ups, four 48" tubes are those purple and pink bulbs from AD. Skunk Clown from BB before they moved to R2U, the anenome is a clone from Z28PWR rose/violet BTA.

The other is just a random shot.

Both are iPhone pics so excuse the quality.

The picture of the anenome is the mother of the clone (twin?) in the earlier thread. After moving tanks this guy stayed hidden for about two weeks, thus the bleached and pink look. It's gotten significantly darker in the last week or so, but no where as dark as the clone.

That is one that i got from Ace (Hobogato) at the frag swap 2 years ago that was about 1/4" - 1/2" (can't quite remember) and that baby just grew.

This piece was :cry_smile: about 2 x 4 when my tank crashed :cry_smile::cry_smile: maybe a little larger
