I thought these were ricordea yuma, but I don't think I have ever seen yumas that had such a distinct color pattern. Are these yumas or some other type of mushroom?

Those are awesome....that's what they are. Kind of look like frilly mushrooms to me. My yumas do not extend their polyps that far out. Not sure though.

Mini carpets maybe? The elongated tentacles on the edges says ricordia, but you are right, that pattern is unique.

Maybe I can use my new fragging skills and cut get a few off of the rock in time for the swap. They reproduce like crazy. Here is a picture of what I purchsed about 8 months ago. 2 polyps on a small rock, one the size of a nickel the other the size of a pencil eraser.

That was when I thought they looked more like yumas. Now there are about 10 from the size quarter up to about 2+ inches in diameter and at least 10 more babies. The reproduce by leaving a fragment of their foot behind...not sure if that can help with the ID.

I am almost positive they are indeed yuma ricordea. I have not seen those particular ones before though. Nice score and hope you have several frags cuz I want one too. LOL
