Great video man. I wish I was talented enough to make a vid. Did you gradually increase the amount of vinegar used or did you notice any excessive bacteria growth when you initially started using the vinegar?

i remember reading a bunch of forms and alot of people use alot of vinigar almost a whole cup. and after reading tons of forms i decided to go with the 1/4 cup of vineger. some dont use any at all but i have realized that the tsp of calcium hyd. never desolves all the way. plus 1/4 cup of vinager lets it desolve all the way.

The vinegar does help dissolve it alot. I use a powerhead, 1.5 gallons, 1.5 tsp kalk, and 3 or 6 ml of vinegar depending on the temp of the water and get much less slurry.

How comparable is the Mrs. Wages to other kalks you have used? Is it more fine, clumpier, or the same? I almost went with Wages on my last purchase, but realized I would have more than I ever needed if I bought the case.

how long does it last (to drain the jug)? How often are you making it?

Very timely. I am getting ready to build a kalk drip system. Thanks for the ideas.
