We now have our tank up and running and looking to trade some of our Live Rock for Coralline covered rock. We have cooked rock sitting in 32gal brutte trash cans for about 5 months.

Please let us know if you can help out.

Thanks.

Ross, why not just get some coralline shavings and throw in your tank. I like that you are using cooked rock...why chance getting someone elses pests with such a large system? Kind of beats your efforts of cooking your rock if you know what I mean.

I will scrape my coralline off my rocks and bring a bag full for you on Sunday to the meeting if you like.

My point is... a new system is the perfect opportunity to be 99% pest free. Cook and Dip everything.

I'll trade you a coraline covered magfloat for one that is in good condition.

Wow... Great idea and didn't think of this. That would be great Rob.

If anyone else can do this that would be great.

Great Jack. The magfloat we have is about 4"x1", the medium size one.

Sounds good Ross. Also, this is what I did in my current setup to get the foam colored up...within a month or two I was completely covered in coralline. Dump it in and then turn the pumps off to let it all settle.

I'll bring a bag this weekend for you.

To add some diversity I am offering a cheapo coralline encrusted thermometer in exchange for another cheapo thermometer. Has green, pink and maroon coralline. :)
