Acan not opening up

My acan is not opening up as it was. Could it be my clown goby.

Put a clear piece of plastic over it. Something like an iceee lid from the gas station if it is small enough.

There are too many things that it could be. Parameters, flow, lighting, and also could be the goby is tweaking it by resting on it or picking at it. You need to tell us more if we are to give ideas or help.

All my parameters are fine. Took the goby out and now much better

I had the same issue with a Purple Tang. Had 5 colonies all close up....I saw the tang nipping at them though. Tore the tank down...removed the Tang and now all the colonies are open and happy.

Whichever is worth more stays. Sorry purple tang....
