if the pond pumps from lowes will work as a return pump for my tank? i know itll work just wanna know if it will rust or not. i got like 75 dollars of credit from returning some stuff and saw the pumps and wondered if theyd work

most of the pumps they sell will not be good for saltwater applications because the impeller shaft is metal. if they have one with a ceramic shaft, you would probably be ok.
