So I've recently taken the plunge into SPS and have been trying to get a handle on what I have heard on soft and SPS fighting with each other by releasing toxic compounds. What is everyone's take/experience with this phenomenon and how would you apply it to your coral arrangement and selection?

Used to have both soft and sps in my old tank with no problems. As long as you have carbon running 24hrs and giving the two species plenty of space in between. Just down go over w soft corals if you like sps so much..gl

So that finger leather is going to have to go then huh? I cleared all the softies out from around the SPS but I have a big colony of fire and ice morphs that are about and inch from a nice branch. Will it work?
