Want to say thanks

To be honest, I never felt like I could get my foot in the door here and threatened to quit visiting this sight many, many times last year. But, I've noticed a new sense of community here. And, I think a lot of it has to do with the new leadership we have. Nothing against the old BOD members and committee members, y'all did a fine job, but sometimes change is good (except of Obama, sorry couldn't resist).

Things really seemed to reach an apex this fall with the in-fighting and site moderation, but I really like the direction we're headed now. I know these things happen every few years and will continue happen in the future.

I really like that our input is being taken and in some cases implemented. When you feel like you have some say in organization like this, it tends to bring people together.

I really wanted to thank the BOD, committee members, and all other volunteers past and present for all their hard and sometimes unappreciated work (Kristy:wink_smile:).

What a nice sentiment! I am glad that all the efforts are beginning to show themselves in productive ways. We really are trying to work together as a team focused on positive results and to side step some of the negativity that has (and will always ineveitably) be around, meaning the moderators, the BOD and committee folks.
