Suggestions on what to feed SPS? Has anyone ever used "reef chili" from BRS?

I'm quite fond of Coral Frenzy (thanks, Gabe!) -- its quite an impressive mix for a dry food. Obviously, its no replacement for a well established, well-fed aquarium, but its a collection of 9 or 10 different phyto/zooplankton types, with very little filler -- highly concentrated. As far as feeding frozen, as Still Learning posted, things such as Oyster eggs, Prawn eggs and other small foods will work fine for feeding SPS. I tend to buy a mix of things, such as mysis, cyclops, 'reef plankton' mixes, prawn eggs, and krill -- then run them through a blender to make my own mix. I usually add a bit of the Coral Frenzy too -- everything loves it, from corals to fish :)

I feed my fish frozen mysis. I have also heard that one wouldn't need to feed the sps depending on what you feed the fish. Should I still feed the sps?

No harm in it -- do feed variety though, even for your fish. They'll appreciate it :) I tend to cycle through New Life Spectrum pellets, a mix of assorted flake foods, the above listed mix of frozen foods, or any of the frozen foods alone... but rarely do they get the same meal two times in a row :)

I've seen a few members do this and I wonder why. I would think the cons outweigh the benefits.
Thawing and refreezing is generally not recommended for two reasons:
* during thawing and refreezing the cell walls burst and the food loses a significant amount of its nutritional value
* by regular food safety standards anything that thaws to above 40 degree temperatures could be subject to bacterial growth
Or do you keep it frozen while you blend it?
I too serve a mix of things (not to SPS though) but I just thaw what I need for the day (cube of this, piece of that, etc.)
I don't have SPS though so I find the natural texture of things (prawn eggs for gorgs, mysis for LPS, etc.) just perfect and no need to blend it into a slush.

I do keep it frozen when blending it, for the reasons you list above :) Shoulda pointed that out..
Edit: Also, I only ever use half of what I buy when I make my slurry of foods -- I keep at least half of all my frozen foods still in the bag/cube sheet, so that I have the option to feed straight... Personally though, the feeding response I get from the slurry is more than worth the time it takes to make it :)

So is it a "must" that things like Acropora, pocillapora, Cyphastrea, and Monti be fed?

Fish poop is all my SPS ever got. You really don't have to feed them anything as long as you have a good amount of fish poop. Here is a couple of pics of my last tank.
