di resin

I have a question about when to change di resin. According to the color it has changed into my di resin is exhausted. However, my tds meter is showing 0. It has been like this for a month. Should I change the resin or just wait until the tds goes up?

I would wait. My resin changed after about 40 gallons went through it (0 TDS)
That was about 4 months ago and its still making 0 TDS water.

Same here. The stuff from Buckeye changes colors soon after replacing, but I've still gotten a few more months out of it before the tds started getting above 2.

I order mine from Buckeye, when I refilled it the color changed in like two weeks. (25 GAL OR SO). Russ said it was because it wasn't compacted well enough in the container. Since then, I refilled and really packed it in, it has been two months, 0 TDS and no color change.

Cool! Didn't know that. I usually leave it pretty loose (insert innuendo here).

Maybe we should check w/Gabe to see if he can do a di bulk order. If not, I'm all for going in on a group order from Russ if it'll save a little $$$

LOL, your like three days late for me and going in on a group DI buy...I just ordered some from Buckeye...just my luck...LOL
