JT, interesting idea. I am sure the event coordinator will look into it and let you know. I am sure we would need to see what Jeremy has planned and how best to coordinate things. We do have two hours. We will get back to you...

Just to clarify: I think Kevin was answering your question about what sorts of things often go on at some of our meetings, but at this meeting there is not going to be any food.

Time for another BUMP!
but are we going to be able to bring something to frag to practice on or is this just him showing us ???
Spoke with Jeremy today and confirmed that you are welcome to bring your own frag to practice with if you like.
We will have quite a variety of corals to demonstrate and a great selection of door prizes too... Don't forget that March frag swap is right around the corner so we will all need to put our new fragging skills to the test.
Plus you can pick up your candy cane frag to begin the contest!
See you guys Sunday 2:00 - 4:00!

Yes great meeting. Thank you very much. Sorry I had to rush out and couldn't stay for clean up but this was the first time I was away from my baby for this long (5 hours!) and I was anxious to get back.

So glad that everyone had a great time. Special thanks to Jeremy, who did a great job and provided a wealth of information. That was a lot of fragging... Jeremy is probably tired this evening!
Also, want to give recognition to the entire events committee: Kevin (kkiel02), Chris (stangchris) and John (firewater) who were all involved in the planning and executing of this meeting. All corals fragged today were donated by the Events committee and members of the Board of Directors, so extra thanks are due there as well. This is our first meeting since the formation of this committee and I think this event showed just a preview of what a good team working together can do.

I had a great time and wish I could have stayed later but time was not on my side. I look forward to the frag swap and it was great seeing new faces at the meetings. Also the turn out was incredible, the most we've had in awhile I suspect. Although there were quite a few people at corpus too. Anyways I have a great respect for all the time Kristy put into making this successful and would like to thank all who donated corals to be fragged. Oh and a BIG thanks to Jeremy for the presentation.

Yes, very awesome meeting! I can't believe I got the super nice Duncans. They're already swaying in the currents. :) (and I also got some great looking frogspawn from acropoorer and some zoas too!)
You all should have said something and I am sure we all could have pitched in some frags/colonies to donate!
Can't believe stangchris just couldn't leave that gorgeous big toadstool alone...
THANK YOU Kristy, Kevin , Chris, John, Ace and Jeremy for a fantastic first meeting!

Just a repeat of everyone's sentiments! Glad to meet all those that I met, and glad we finally got to make a meeting! Thanks Jeremy, for providing your time and expertise -- you're not the only one who's nerves are on edge in front of a crowd... at least you were able to get over it! :D You did a great job!
Thanks to Kristy and the events crew -- a great event for the books :)
