I have a plan for my tank! And it just feels right.
When I started out I just got one of everything and eventually it just felt like a big hodge podge of stuff.
Then I realized how much better I liked things when I focused on fewer things and did more bundling/clustering.
I am loving the clustering. Right now I have about 7 colonies of sun corals and wouldn't mind having more. It really seems to pull the tank together.
Some of my gorgonians have duplicates and I will add some others in greater numbers soon.
It sort of reminds me of a field of flowers where certain kinds appear over and over rather than one of each.
I am letting go of the SPS. (Okay I am keeping one that Justahobby called an SPS but I'll just refer to it as LPS ;) )
Sending the SPS to new homes really feels quite liberating. Good bye boring sticks!
It's never going to be a real biotope or anything but I am quite excited about this more focused approach.

I do have a cluster of euphyllia! Their colors and movement are wonderful. One of my favorites is from the frag exchange program

NPS tank all the way...you can never have too many sun corals.

Definitely: never too many sun corals. :)
I am also pretty excited about a supplier for captive propagated photosynthetic gorgonians. I might just finish off my gorg collection by cheating a bit and going with more PS. :)
And one of our sponsors might be able to get me some pretty electric blue little nuggets... I'll post more on that when he finds them. :D
