SPS vs. GSP

Some of my GSP is about to run into my ORA Red Planet. The GSP I have is fairly long and may come up half the length of the Red Planet. Will they fight? More importantly will the Planet get jacked up? I really like the GSP and may consider trimming it around the Planet...

you want to trim it, ive seen GSP grow up SPS corals obviously killing it.

Does make for a neat feature a SPS skeleton covered in GSP, but I dont think you want that ;)

I think GSP vs. SPS is no contest.
GSP always wins...
Also the cheaper coral always wins.

Ya, man that sucks. I was hoping to hear SPS would fight off GSP...wishful thinking.

The cheapest coral will always destroy the more expensive one.

I took a piece of lr w/gsp on it, scrubbed it, and let is sit out in the sun for 3 days. And, guess what I saw on the rock after a week of putting it back into my tank?

GSP and bryopsis are the two hardest things to get rid of, so I'm guessing that expensive Red Planet won't stand a chance.
