He's acclimated and claimed a quiet spot in the back of the tank. Thank you for the goby and it was great meeting you. Thanks again for the frag. Goodluck with your newest tank!

Too funny! Mike was just starting to talk about wanting a sand sifting goby for the new 75g tank when this post popped up. Screech is still happily taking care of the sand in the big tank and growing by the minute.

It's ok that we didn't end up with him because at least we know he's in good hands and will be well-cared for! (Does yours have a soul patch?)

HAHA, I haven't seen a soul patch yet but I'll be looking. I feel guilty now, They could've been soulmates! On liveaquaria he's listed as a Pinkspotted Goby which are watchmen and less prone to sifting. I didn't think to ask if he sifts.

Does he sift sand, Christiana? :D

He does sift sand. We called him "Learch". He also has a habit of picking up the hermit crabs and dropping them at the other end of the tank.

He's situating nicely and scaring the daylights out of the longnose hawkfish lol. The toadstool is looking healthy and I'm excited to see him take off. Thanks again.

Is the Maroon pair still pending?...If not, have they ever spawned for you?
