hey....im looking to upgrade my fixture's (Odyssea) MH bulb....was debating between a Reeflux 12k or a Ushio 14k...looking for suggestions? also...when the upgrade takes place...would it be necessary to swith out the ballast? or can i prolong it a lil while to save up some cash to upgrade it another time?

Oh no josh your going crazy again. I would go with the reeflux 12k Also I think your ballast are magnetic. Personally Josh I say save and get an ICECAP to run the fixture. OR SAVE FOR THE 110g light fixture.

Get another Odyssea bulb (20K for a crisp white) and save for the ballast. I used to think I didn't see much diff. in the icecap ballast vs. odyssea. Then I plugged my odyssea back in. It burned my Phoenix 14K more blue but dimmer. The icecap gets the bulb burning max in a fraction of the time too.
