I tried the small bucket that makes up to 55 gal. Unimpressed but could've had a bad batch. The best part about the red sea was the handy little bucket (1.5 gallon) I use for kalk dripping.

Nothing that I could tell, but I misplace keys, wallet, forget what I had for lunch.....

I am used to using a little over 1/2 cup per gallon to mix my water. With the red sea I was using a full cup. So I would have been lucky if I got 30 gallons out of it. I never tested what it mixed up to but frankly don't care since I had to use double the norm and still paid more.

I have heard other MAASTards say that they didn't have that problem so wait to see what others tell you.

I am very happy with it. It takes less salt to get to 1.025-6. I do 8 heaping cups per 20 gallon tub. I have recently switched to reef crystals as the lfs was out of coral pro and it takes quite a bit more salt(about 10-12 heaping cups). I have tried many different brands and as long as you get a "reef" salt I dont see a huge difference in growth at least short term. I have used reef crystals and the red sea coral pro for longer periods and growth seems to be about the same. Also I havent spent $70-90 on the newer salts yet so I can't speak for them. I am happy with reef crystals but it just takes alot more salt to get the salinity up. I also dose kalk so my calcium and kh are always good.

The base of this salt is natural compared to others which are synthetic. I switch between RedSea Coral Pro and Reef Crystals.

I used bought some Rea sea coral pro, I noticed it takes less to get the SG. I actually had to go back and remove water and add freshwater since I shot based my range thinking of the other salt I use. I will let everybody know about results since I had to restart my tank after a lenghty move to my new home

Red Sea Coral Pro is all we use at our store and all I use at home in my two tanks there.
Good stuff.

I've been using RSCP for a couple of years now and my only complaint is that Mg tends to be a little low. Nothing a little Tech M can't fix.

I switch between coral pro and the regular red sea premium. Both dissolve quickly and get up to SG quicker than the others. Good products

Ive been using RSCP for two years now. It's a pretty stable product in my opinion and you can keep mag in check rather easy if it is low.
