i have a snail that comes out ar night they are very small they are while they look like baby mexican snails. very small should i be worried aobut them? they only come out at night and they don't hurt anything well nothing that i can see.

the other thing i have in my take is some white stringy spongy looking strands that are growing behind a rock in the back. will have pics up later.

but info is greatly appreciated.

mini turbos my tank has hundreds, if the light hits the tank it scares them and they fall off the rocks, very good night time clean up crew

might be strombus snails and the white stuff could be sponge or spaghetti worms

actually if they're very tiny (rice grain size) and never seem to get bigger than this:

then they are most likely collonista snails

harmless and beneficial as long as they don't clog your pumps

The babies of the collonista are just about the size of half a grain of rice and white. I bet that's them. Their pelagic phase is very short hence they tend to breed successfully in the aquarium
