I did a water change this morning. Everything seemed peachy.
Sherry is coming over in a little bit so I was checking on Ace's spider sponge because I wanted to show it off.
IT's GONE!!!
I found the plug but no sponge on it. I must have knocked it off?
It looked so beautiful last night.
It seems to thick to actually go through the hose but I can't find it and I have so much rock.
From now on I will always check the waste water bucket. Twice.
I hate that that happened.
Grrr. I am so sorry Ace. :( Poor little spider sponge. The polyps even had breakfast this morning. Hey wait ...
I fed them after the water change!
Who took my spider sponge?!?!

LOL Chris.

Where was it Karin...? Glad you found it. I'm guessing it got knocked off somehow.

I used some marine epoxy this weekend that is HE-MAN strong (just hard to work with). I asked my wife to pick me up some Marine putty from Lowes while she was out and of course they were sold out of the tube kind that you knead together. So she got me the Loc-tite mixture version. You squeeze it from a tube and mix it together...once it starts to harden you use it. It's like a cement or something...nothing breaks from it. Super strong... I can't even break it from the rock like I can the normal epoxy.

You might want to check it out for the sole purpose of this frag.

Disclaimer: Not sure if they are recognized as reef safe but I've been using Marine Epoxy/Putty for 3+ years. Maybe a new thread in the works.

Created a new thread to discuss this before Karin's goes way off topic. Sorry karin. http://maast.org/forums/showthread.php?p=725206#post725206

Sherry was GPS victim #5. LOL

spider sponge frag from frag exchange:

Usually the polyps are all open but it's a little ticked off right now since it got stuck in the clownfish' den with the heads in the sand.
