Hey folks,

This morning I was (am) sitting in front of the tank thinking of some aquascaping when noticed one of the c snails on a rather new lr addition. Usually I wouldn't think too much about it except that is was really hanging out of it's shell. A hermit was nearby not taking advantage of the exposed flesh. I took a couple of pics but by the time I poured my coffee and received my emailed phone pics the snail had put his shell back on. It's still sitting there with some leg showing and it's shell is being moved every now and then. But that's about it.

Is it time for me to frag the snail?

Maybe it's having a private moment? I'd let it sit a little and not take it out quite yet. They're so tiny. I bet even if they expire they don't release much that your bacteria couldn't take care of.

He seems healthy even crawling around a bit, somewhat active for a nightwalker.

This one is about an inch long, or the shell is anyway.
You're probably right about the private moment. Maybe it's hungry?
