I have a basic question. Should you or should you not drip acclimate new corals? I have done this for all the corals I have (5) and they all have been fine. I just watched a "tutorial" that said DO NOT drip acclimate.

I always drip acclimate unless it's something special and comes with special instructions like a Gorgonian. Did it give a reason why they didn't want to drip acclimate? What did they suggest instead?

FWIW, Saltwaterfish is a retail site not an educational site. Most likely, they tell you not to drip acclimate in order to get the coral into your tank faster due to shipping stress.

I personally would still acclimate, one way or another JMO.
