Hello everyone. This if for all of us that don't have those fancy lights with lunar built in. I recently went to the sponsor section and asked in anyone carried this light bar...no one did. I hope someone local starts to carry them.

Unfortunately I had to order it on line. It was on backorder for about 3 weeks but I just got it yesterday and I LOVE THIS THING. You can also get a control unit to adjust 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full moon. Here are some pics. I paid $55.00 for the 48" bar, that includes shipping.

I only saw 24", 36" and 48". They may have a 72" but I don't know for sure. I got it from aquabuys. If you type in "save5dollars" you will get $5 off your order. They said that code is good till the end of the year.

Oh my gosh, I would totally love one of those!
I ended up getting Current Lunar light and a lunar link.
Soooooooo it's a total of 4 LED lights. lol
I bought them from Aquarium designs for 32.29 and 22.99 thinking they were blue.
But they're white. They actually look pretty nice and right now I have two on the left side and two on the right.
Although I think the blue LEDs are not as bright as these "moon white" ones.
Less brightness is better for me since they're in my room. lol
I did get some Christmas money so maybe I can buy this bar you're talking about.
I second cyrus' comment... where'd you buy it from?

I have it set up between my two GLO light bars. The dimensions on the moonlight bar are...48” long, 3” wide and 1 1/2” tall and it’s very light…only a couple pounds. The box and container it shipped in weighed more than the bar. It comes with some adhesive, magnetic strips so I could just fasten it directly to the sides of the tank and there is no way it’s going to get accidently knocked in!!!!!
I ordered the light from aquabuys.com. Like i said with the coupon it cost $54 with shipping. That is the best price I could find online.
If you type in "save5dollars" for a coupon, it'll take $5 off. That made shipping by UPS ground come out to like $2! If that coupon doesn't work, call aquabuys (Sam). He will tell you if they have any other discounts...that is how I found out about that one, I just called and asked if they had any coupons/discounts.
Here is a pic of how I have it set up right now.

I love the amount of light this fixture puts out too. Samurhai...sorry for not responding to your question, must have missed it. My other lights are:
Rear light bar has 2 54w Marine Glo, Atinic bulbs
Front light bar has 2 18,000k 54w Power Glo Bulbs
I have the atinics kick on at about 6am and they run till 8:30pm. The front bar is on from noon to 8pm. This way I get to look at everything all day, but it's not so much light that I have algae problems.

Excellent,
I am assuming the brightness adjustment is a manual type(switch, slide or rotary knob). I wonder if I can integrate this with my APEX controller's variable speed port and profile ramp???
Cheers,
