I think it's more function over form (which I don't necceisarily agree with in this case). It gives me tons of frag space and opened up the bottom of the tank to allow for flow. It just likes an "M" or "W" to me. It looked a lot better in the shop than it does in the tank. This was "mostly" Kevin's creation.

As it sits right now it's a bit symmetrical for my tastes; That said if you plan to grow some big SPs it could definitely fill in well. It's mainly the two vertical pieces on the side that get to me.

That's about what I was thinking. I'm debating pulling them out and just putting 2 small islands in the back so it doesn't look like a "W".


BTW....Poll is private so you can tell me it sucks without me knowing. :bigsmile:

i think it looks fantastic. Nice caves and overhangs, and I like the amount of open sand space. You could even add some more choice pieces of rock down the road.

Honestly, I like it.

But really, it's what you like.
It's your tank and you have to look at it every day. lol
So if you dig it, that's all that matters. :)

It looks nice to me, but after awhile I would be bothered by how symmetrical it is. :)
