Just got back from Iraq a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to my wife and Jeremy at Reefs2u, the tank is looking good, all things considered. Currently dealing with some aiptasia and bubble algae issues. Other than that, corals and fish seem happy.

Thanks. I was hoping everything would just survive, but in reality, the SPS colors have never looked better. Maybe not fiddling with everything and not having my grubby hands in the tank wasn't a bad thing.

Welcome back. The tank does look great. They did a great job. The butterfly fish should take care of the aptasia in no time.

I got the butterfly last week hoping he would be an aiptasia eater, in addition to having wanted one. Seems to be working. Keeping my fingers crossed he does not devour my LPS as well. Also zapped some bigger ones with kalk paste. Lighting is all T5 (6 bulb TEK fixture).

Welcome back!
The tank looks great! I love the colors. You said all T5 lights. How big is the tank? I would like for mine to have that kind of color. I have MH bulbs and am going to try 12k spectrum for better color

I really appreciate all the support and well wishes. It means a lot, especially when most of us have been deployed 2,3, or more times with no slackening in sight. As far as the tank itself, its a 65g and I am running 3 blue+, 1 pure actinic, 1 aquablue special and a UVL actinic white. Looking at upsizing to a 120 and will likely continue the go with T5s or possibly the T5/high output LED fixture that Aquactinics is supposed to be coming out with soon.

Kevin, thanks for stopping by today and snapping those sweet pics above. Your camera skills are outstanding. Had a lot of fun talking setups, SPS, etc. I definitely want to swing by and see your tank in person. Let's see some current pics posted when you get a chance.
