View Full Version : 55g tank or something larger that i can borrow for a few days ??

im going to be moving into a different tank this week and need something for a holding tank any thing will work . If i have to ill just go buy those rubbermaid's

when do you need it by? I have one in my in-laws garage that I was planning on donating to maast anyway, but they live out of town. Probably wont be going there until weekend at earliest.

You prolly already know,but make sure to keep as much old water as you can(if it good water).Make sure all your water parameters in the holding tank are fine before you transfer stuffs over. I've learned a hard way.

JT check with Jack and see what's currently available for charter members as far as equipment library goes.

You prolly already know,but make sure to keep as much old water as you can(if it good water).Make sure all your water parameters in the holding tank are fine before you transfer stuffs over. I've learned a hard way.


i will be keeping most of my water and washing my sand out


ill let the fish and coral stay in the tanks till every thing settles down im hoping the sand will be in the tank with in the next day or to so it will start the cycle

We don't have anything yet. I do have some 15 gal rubermaid containers that you are more than welcome to borrow but nothing in the 50 gal range.

The library does have a bunch of small pumps and heaters that were donated by Snfkotara :applause: if you need them.

hey JT i have a 65 gallon rubber maid ive used on a couple tank moves even used it for two weeks to hold all my rocks and fish, its about 4 feet long, you can put about 10 -12 inches of water which is a lil more than half way, even has a lid, im off 1604 potranco let me know if you need it

she was going to let me use her 55g tank but chris is a lot closer so ill use that and its bigger!!

Snorfkotara donated the 55 to the Library Equipment bank!
I'll list it in the library after I have a chance to go pick it up.

well it looks like its going to take a little longer to get up .... the silicone fell off the sides so i have to replace that
