I got a Lamarck's Angelfish today. She is amazing. She is even eating enriched brine shrimp and mysid, and she has not even been in the tank for more than ten hours.
I would like to cultivate zooplankton in either my refugium or in my display tank so that my new friend has plenty to eat. My other fish would love having zooplankton to eat as well.
On a side note, I am surprised that Lamarck's Angelfish are not seen in the trade more often. They are 100% reef safe, peaceful, and beautiful. They can even be kept in pairs and the sexes can easily be identified.

i think your right. people sometimes put too much attention to color in their tank (including me) but that angel is nice, i like it more than my keyhole angel. there is beauty in simplicity.

Even for being black and silver the pattern and coloration are exquisite. I have a Flame Angel and a Bicolor Angel in my tank. They all get along. The Lamarck's is about 4 inches long and the Flame and Bicolor are about 2 inches long.
I always like the fish with subtle colors. I do have some colorful fish in my tank but most of them are solid colors. Here are the fish that I have in my tank:
• Bicolor Angel (1)
• Flame Angel (1)
• Lamarck's Angel (1)
• Lawnmower Blenny (1)
• Flame Hawkfish (1)
• Pink Skunk Clown (2)
• Copperbanded Butterflyfish (1)
• Blue Green Chromis (2)
• Orangetail Damsel (1)
• Atlantic Blue Damsel (1)
• Marine Betta (1)
• Dilectus Pseudochromis (1)
• Yellow Eye Kole Tang (1)
• Powder Brown Tang (1)
