I just her a week or two ago but she is very healthy i believe gabe had her for a month before i purchased her. she does not get along with my large male red mandarin :confused: she has nipped his fins pretty good. i hate to see her go but i got to. she about 2 1/2 inches $20

Beautiful. What made you think it was a female? In the picture it looks like it has a very noticable spike (= male)

i didnt look hard enough i guess, so if im wrong i guess it might be a male

Yup. I found Targets are not easy to pair up - even with a female - much less with another male. ;)
He's beautiful. Somebody's going to love him.

my red mandarin is twice as big and doesnt fight back

doesn't surprise me. I've found the targets to be much more assertive.
If you want a pair another red/green will be easier to sex than a target and less aggressive I bet. :)

pending he's in my fuge lucky him it's full of food... Todd if falls thru I'll get back to you, but not sure if he eats prepared seen it pick at the food though but not all the time, my tank is covered in pods so he has options
