How do you breed clownfish? And I have a maroon and orange clownfish would they be able to breed?

Breeding clownfish is very difficult (or rather raising the fry is quite difficult) but many knowledgeable and dedicated aquarists have been quite successful. There are a number of great resources to read. You can start in our "Captive Breeding and Propogation" threads here on MAAST.

I also highly recommend the Joyce Wilkerson book on Clownfishes, which I currently have checked out of MAAST library. The library is available to all charter members to borrow and read books and we are getting quite a nice collection of choices.

Finally, you can look at www.mofib.org (http://www.mofib.org) for lots of great and very technical advice on the breeding of fish.

No, a maroon clownfish and "orange" clownfish are actually different breeds and will not breed together. In fact, I would be a little surprised it you could get them to pair up. More than likely, the maroon would kill the percula or oscellaris clown. There are cases that are exceptions, but they are rare and in very large systems.
