We have been working on getting 501(c)3 Non-profit distinction for almost 2 years and it is finally in the hands of the IRS. The CPA told us not to be making any changes with the by-laws. This process has been what has held up some of the changes that needed to be made with the by-laws. One of those items was changing the by-laws to allow On-line Voting.

Well after a lengthy conversation with the CPA today, I am happy to announce we have been given approval to amend the by-laws to allow on-line voting. I know that this will bring joy to all the membership.

Please also consider attending the Christmas Party, too. I believe that Kristy has some good things in store for you.

Please note - this is a process that has NOT yet taken place. We have a few obstacles to overcome, but SHOULD have a successful result.

Yay Steve and Bill! Congrats and Thanks. Wish I could attend the x-mas party but my little ones are not so crazy about being in their car seats that long. I'll definitely put in my online vote though :)

This doesn't mean that Our By Laws have been changed/ammended yet. Hopefully the BOD can get the wrinkles ironned out on this. I know that things are always more complicated than anticipated.

I look forward to voting online as I always have, lol.

EDIT: I see Bill hit this point already.

Any update on this? Or is the vote still scheduled to happen at the meeting on Saturday? Thank you.

Well, we have a proposal discussion that expires tonight at 7pm. The next step is putting it to vote by the BOD. Which will take a minimum of 24 hours.

Things look good so far. With that said, anything can happen at vote time.

So what's happening with this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the vote scheduled for today.

The vote passed! BOD elections will now be held online. I'll let the Secretary give the formal announcement.

Please don't let this deter you from joining us at the meeting today. We will have lots of goodies that the BOD and Kristy (events coordinator) put together for everyone. It will be a great time for all!

Thank you again, BOD for all the hard work that has been put into this. This will certainly ease the minds of the many members that won't be able to be with us today at the meeting.

Yes. It is supposed to go up sometime today and run for 1 week. The site Amin (GreenMako) is going to post it. He's a busy man so it might take him a bit.
