O.K., I am NOT a DITer!

I can't understand the 660 wiring diagram. I think I've done it per drawing. But bulbs just flash for a second.

Does the far end of bulbs (on diagram), on a 4 bulb setup, just have one wire per bulb end? Or, do you cut some of one wire and put a short piece between each pair of bulbs on that end?

I have a headache!

Thanks,

Todd

Looks like you need to make two jumper wires(gray) for between bulb 1/2 and 3/4

as a result....If the bulbs flash on for a second you may have also blown a fuse in the ballast. It's easy to check. Make sure it's unplugged first.

...there should be a large plastic gray screw head on the ballast...unscrew it and the fuse will come out.

RadioShack sells them in packages of like 5 or so. I went through this before.

Thanks guys!

I thought it looked like I needed those two little wires....not in the package. I can just cut some off one of the other wires...right?

I'll check the fuse too.

As long as clipping the lines a bit isn't going to reduce your wiring so much that you can't install as you were hoping, clip away -- the wire length is pretty much for convenience, and can be added/removed from as necessary :)

So did it fix it? If so, how do you like? better than the NOVA pro? You running the standard ballast or the overdriven? Just curious, Stephen.

I hate those things...that's why I got rid of it. Just too many wires to work with.....now my headache's coming back...lol

Yeah, I got it running. It was the gost wires along with one endcap not all the way on.

I like the NovaPro WAY better but I'm running a combo of VHO and T5 plus halides on my new system so I had to go this route as no company makes an all in one that uses both bulb types.

It's a 600 so it should overdrive them, but also have 110w each going to the two VHO so hopefully it won't overdrive the T5's too much.

Now I just have to tape up all those freaking wires tomorrow. Going hunting today.

Thanks for the help.
