there was a little Mandarin who lived in a small 60 gallon cage.

he was upset because he came from a 175 gallon cage with more critters to eat on every rock!

he searched and searched his home day and night fruitlessly day after day.

"the home isn't so bad", he thought, "i just cant find enough food!"

until about 2 hours ago this very night!
he had been studying his parameters for 2 months now, waiting, planning his big break!...

it was behind those bars that he needed to be

he'd wait for nightfall and slip through that slight opening... one mistake could be his last. poooof! He took it.

studying his new surroundings, he finds their smaller but....

"this drain leads somewhere, i know it. i can feel it in my tiny mandarin gut!"

so through the drain he starts... splash!!

oouch!! through the first sharp turn!
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii108/joelb69/DSC05475.jpg

and through the wall into another sharp turn and pitch blackness!
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii108/joelb69/DSC05476.jpg

down a long slide and SPLASH!!!
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii108/joelb69/DSC05477.jpg

the little mandarin, scared and confused, bumped into a rock and awoke on a bed of sugar fine, sun white, anemone soft sand under his fins.:bighug: was this it? he thought. he swam to the surface and over some more and.... and... is this? he thought. are those?? he though. am i???.. he thought.

MANDARINE HEAVEN!!!

the green was greener than all other greens he had ever seen... and more variety!

http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii108/joelb69/DSC05486.jpg

the caves were cavier than all the other caves hed seen
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii108/joelb69/DSC05491.jpg

rock as far as the eye could see!
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii108/joelb69/DSC05490.jpg

and BUGS!! as much as the mandarin belly can hold!.... and more!
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii108/joelb69/DSC05487.jpg

"AND ALL FOR MEEEE!!" he screamed at the top of his lungs!! inhailing a bug and coughing! rolling around in the sand bed!

this is a true story about a mandarin who desired more and fought until he got all of it. it happened a few hours ago.

and for those who are wondering what is going to happen next..... that mandarin is going to get real fat and happy in his new home.

the end!

i just checked up on him and i think he's trying to hunt some bugs in front of him and then some other bugs are slapping his fins behind him and when he turns to eat them, he gets distracted by a worm thing pocking out of the rock right next to the feather thing that just disappeared into the rock.

It's a good thing that this turned into a happier ending, because it was really making me sad there for a while!
