i thought so ... looks very nice this is another coral i want but when i use to look around every one had very large ones and i like to have small things and watch it grow

Great looking coral I love the elegance coral I just never had luck with them so I swore them off. I cant stand killing something so beautiful.

Tank looks like it is coming along nicely Ace. Can't wait to see it in a year or so once it has had time to start to fill in. Pics are amazing BTW.

I love it that you found the red bugs from the photo. It always amazes me how a good photo can really show you details you might not notice usually in the tank. Unfortunately, a "good photo" is something that you get to see a lot more often than I do!

Where are you getting all those beautiful pieces at??? Do you frequent local fish stores or buy stuff off the net??? Like that rainbow acan frag, that is incredible I want something like that so bad!!!!!

lindsay, that is an acro i got at reefs2u a while back. i thought it was A. abratanoides, but now i am not sure. it had more pink/salmon on it when i got it but has greened out a bit in my tank so far

michael, i have not ordered anything online for this tank. everything came from sponsor shops and other local shops in sa. or from other reefers. that Acan. echinata that you and karin mentioned was from joelb.

those came from reefs2u, the light color ring is actually purple, and the rest is solid greeeen (yes, i spelled it that way on purpose :))

...Tell me about those green and white acan....I really like those.

thanks kevin - not skills, just a nice camera, lens and tripod with the shutter on timer ;)

i am glad my toils amuse you karin :) the new clam is way up top, looks good, just havent taken a pic of it yet

it is doing well kevin, browned out a little, but that is to be expected going to my dirty sunlit tank. it will be interesting to see what it does color wise in the long run.

No matter how hard I would try I wouldn't be able to get my tank to look like yours. The dirty sand however ... I got that down pat - just like yours! lol
And if dirty sand is good enough for you. Well then it certainly is good enough for me. Here's to dirty sand! :applause:
