ideas for tank

well ive had my tank for some time now. it seems kind of empty because it is well kind of empty. i need some ideas for my tank. i am still kind of new even though ive had my tank for almost 3 mnths. wat would be good for my tank. i am open for ideas. i have 2 clowns, 2 black and white clowns, a sailfin, singapore, 1 cleaner shrimp, anfile:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Joanna/My%20Documents/Downloads/IMG00059-20091103-1436.jpgd 2 snails. also a frogspawn.file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Joanna/My%20Documents/Downloads/IMG00059-20091103-1436.jpg

How big is this tank? You defiantly need more rock. This tank seams small for the fish you have. The pics could be deceiving though.

Agreed. This tank looks pretty small to house a sailfin. He may be ok right now, but will quickly outgrow anything smaller than a 125. More rock is going to be a must to keep up with the high bioload in your tank right now. As a general rule of thumb you should have at least 1lbs of rock per gallon of water. I would also say that you are going to need more snails and hermit crabs to act as your "cleanup crew".

What type of lighting and filtration do you have? This will help us determine what types of fish and invert you can keep.

I would add more rock, a lot more. It makes the tank look more complete and adds to the filtration of fish wastes. It looks like you are probably maxed out on fish but you could add some inverts: shrimp, clams, corals, etc

I agree. Some more rock would do wonders. Once you get more rocks you can get some encrusting corals, like acans or star polyps. That will brighten things up and give you some movement when the water flows. Xenia is also nice, as are Kenya Trees.

A coral banded shrimp would be nice. I have one and love watching her move around the tank.

Just wanted to add:
if you get more rock I would think it would be preferable to get it from a fully cycled aquarium (somebody who's tearing their tank down) rather than buy freshly shipped live rock that still has die-off and possibly creating a new cycle.
