OK....here is the deal...those of you that have listed what you want...MAAST would like to pick up the shipping charges for you. :bigsmile::bigsmile:

What I need for you to do...is go to their website, place your order and pay. In the special instructions....note that it is part of the MAAST Group Order. You will get a total that will include the shipping charges...but this is NOT your final total. That will be taken care of on the final billing when shipped.

Now...the shipping/arrival date....I myself am not working this Friday or this coming Monday. That may put a damper on having it shipped to me...unless those can get their order in quickly...any suggestions or volunteers to receive the shipment on any other day besides this Friday or Monday?

IF we can get our orders in...the shipment date can be determined....LET'S GET THE ORDERS IN. Once you have placed your order....please come back and confirm here. David - as far as there being a special MAAST "discount" - there isn't any other discount other than what they are offering on their website - which on a lot of their corals are anywhere from 25% and 40% - depending on which ones you pick. . While placing mine...it is showing my discount on the items I pick that are on sale. The only "discount" will be that MAAST is picking up the shipping charges...and that it would initially show up on your order, but once it is shipped and your bill is finalized, it will be taken off.

This is the message I got back from Pacific East....Discounts, the sale pricing should be reflected in your final total when you check out. MAAST members also qualify for a 10% discount on livestock items not already on sale. That discount does not show in cart and will be adjusted in the final bill, though there is not much that qualifies for that right now.

We charge $36.99 for shipping/handling plus a seperate $10 box charge. This is per box shipped, but unless you guys order absolutely tons of stuff we shouldn't need more than one.

I have to say... I'm very, VERY happy with the snails we got. They are as cute as can be and all 15 of them went zooming around the tank in search of cyano in just a matter of seconds after I dropped them in. Never seen such a responsive group of snails, especially after being shipped overnight.

I would definitely recommend ordering with this company to anyone considering an order in the future! Hope everyone else is just as happy with their orders.

(The jury is still out, of course, regarding whether these snails actually do anything with the cyano. I will be sure to update this when we have conclusions drawn.)

I agree Kristy - I am very happy so far also. Great packaging - no leakage at all...My clam opened right up after acclimation and my Acan is just as pretty as I thought it would be...and those snails did take off, didn't they?! And the jury is out on them...I'll do an update on mine also...

I'm sorry this transaction didn't go as smoothly as expected. I was worried about the location and hours available for pick-up so I actually contacted David over the weekend and found out that the location and times would in fact not work out well for me - in time to simply reroute my order to arrive at my home. :)

In the future perhaps we can post location and pick up times in the group order thread?
That must have been a real pain for David to sit at the school till 7PM waiting.
