I've already posted a few times, become a charter member and met a couple of people so I am not brand new. :)
I live SE of town close to La Vernia.
I am originally from Europe (hence the user name) but have been in Texas for a long time -graduated from SWT in fact back when it still was SWT.
I have a had a small reef tank for about a decade (in retrospect I was pretty negligent with that one though ...) and only upgraded this year to a 125 gallon tank - I LOVE it!
The clownfish that I had in that tank are now in the big tank.
My favorite fish are dragonets though.
For ten years I've wanted a mandarin dragonet but have been waiting to get a bigger tank so I have enough pods for them. Now that I have a bigger tank I learned that the dragonets can in fact be fed frozen fare - go figure...
I like to read about them and spent a lot of time on MOFIB learning more about breeding them.
My favorite corals so far are sun corals and chili corals - I guess I just like to target feed stuff! ;)
I enjoy taking good care of my critters - and I have a lot of them (horses, goats, dogs, cats, tortoises, etc.)
I used to work in marketing/proposals but I am now a work-at-home mom (the other part of my user name). I have a 3 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. The 3 year old is the reason I now have this wonderful big tank. He finished off my 30g by dumping a whole can of fish food in it (I guess he likes to target feed too) :blushing:
