EVC is now selling what was formerly the Helios line of MH bulbs. The Helios got great reviews from many sources, and several of the on-line coral companies used them in house.
I need 3 new bulbs. They have all bulbs currently on sale, but he's willing to do an order for 6 minimum (I need 3, so that leaves 3) for $50 each. I THINK shipping is $10 total - but not sure.
If I know you, I'll be happy to front the $$. If not, PM me and we'll arrange it.
I have the 20K, 400w SE bulbs. These were great - no actinic needed. Growth was also very good.

For those in CC, I'll be happy to bring them down on a weekend.
Let me know by say Thursday?

Nice deal. If I had money to spare I would jump on the 250W 10K. The specs on that bulb are incredible. :shades: If I thought my BTA was bleached now.....man would he be hurting then.

Hey David,
Does this mean you are contemplating putting together a group order for frozen food? If so, it is that time again for us, so we would be up for it. Just like to check LFS for comparison first, in case they are able to offer us a comparable deal.
Bill - sorry to hijack your thread. That's a good price on bulbs and we would probably be interested if we had not JUST replaced all of ours.

Jim,
Helios is gone - the EVC products are supposed to be identical.
There is an EVC 10K, 250w SE bulb on sale for $55:

Sanjay has tested the EVC bulb, and it has a 110 PPFD:

That number is just below the 400W 20K - pretty impressive. There is a spectral analysis there as well.
Let me know.

Well, they just emailed me and said they were out of stock for a couple of weeks. So I told them to ship when they get them. Since it's for your classroom, consider it a donation.
