how many fish should i keep in a 55g
currently i have three clowns and three goby and couple invertebrates they all love each other

You could add a pigmy angel. Maybe a small tang/juvy angel (Knowing you will have to trade them in, in a couple of years) Maybe a firefish. Stay away from fast growing fish like groupers, lionfish, and puffers.

if all is well and everyone is happy then i would leave as is...just a thought.

i've had 8 in mine at one time.
2 clowns
1 yellow tang (3")
1 blue tang (grew from 1.5"- 3.5")
1 royal gramma
1 firefish
1 cleaner wrasse
1 six line wrasse

you could add a royal gramma, or a 6-line wrasse

A royal gramma would a dwarf angel would be nice.

that's good - it will outgrow that pretty fast as well. the one i had in the 240 went from 5" to 12" in about 2 years.

I think it depends on what kind of filtration you have and If the tank can handle the bio load.
