watts dont mean anything just so you know .... you have a 55g so you would like to get a 4 bulb t5 set up 54*4 or a dual 150w mh set up

if you want you can make your own t5 set up its not to hard and pretty cheap

i have a 250W MH retrofit kit with a 20k bulb 125.00 and comes with a e-ballast and reflector
