I have a nassarius snail that decided to lay eggs in the top back left corner of my tank. I would love to do a water change but I am afraid that if the water level dips below the eggs that they will die.
How long do nassiarius snails need to hatch? Will they be okay if they are exposed to air for 10 or so minutes?

Bump - I now have the same question on time to hatch. I just found them on my glass this morning. This question was never answered so I wont hold my breath, still if anyone knows?

We have had lots of snails lay eggs and some hatch and some become fish food. Don't know the technical gestation, but they seem to last at least a week but I can't remember them for more than three. So it would be safe to say 1-3 weeks.
Glad to hear you have an environment that fosters snail reproduction!!!

I wouldn't worry about them. If they survive, great. If not, there will be more. Once I started seeing snail eggs, it became a pretty common sight.

they usually dont make it past the egg stage, they will get eaten or just fall off and wash away
