Sherry, I'd be interested in 1 or two. I'm assuming these are the long black spiny urchins and are reef safe.???

Heading to pm....

What are you looking to trade for? I might take one.

Sherry, Jack lives right down the road from me...so if you drum up a trade with him everyone could meet at my house when you come by for the corals and fish.

I'll take one urchin.

Oh looks like they're all gone. Did you get them locally (what store)? I would love to get one too (Diadema Urchin).

EuroMom, she got them at the coast. So far the one I got from Sherry is doing well. It has traveled all over my reef cleaning the rocks. It has gone through and over coral but no problems that I can tell.

Thanks, Sherry. Nice meeting you both.

Wow. Interesting! So what kind are they? Diadema? Lytechinus? What do they eat? Are they venemous? How big are they with spines?

I really dont know a whole lot about them except that so far they seem toeat algae and 1 did eat a piece of shrimp. They seem to be reef safe and I have 2 lg. 3in. and 1 med. 2.5in. avail. No they are not venemous or at least we have yet to be stung I caught the with my hands. I will make a phone call to my buddy in Rockport to find out a little more info.
