I have heard a few people doing this and it came out fine. Just use the search and I'm sure you'll pull some up.

And Ray is right for a place to get it

Man you guys are on top of it today.

Just make sure you let it cure. I wait 2 weeks to be safe. I also use aquarium sealant under it to prevent it from "floating" when applying to glass and plastic.

Thanks, Allan!

Try this......

Make sure you seat the rock all the way into the foam, or it could fall out. You should be able to buy Live Rock rubbles for $1 or $2 a pound. Here's Tanu's reef tank using spraying foam: http://www.tanu.nl/

After all that craning, the tank still got damaged:

And this.....

My government computer will not let me get to these sites so I am hopping it's the right thing :)

I was actually thinking about doing this also on my next tank. Here's a link to an article on it.

If you go to the author forum link at the bottom of it you can get more info. I did notice in the forum that someone used an oil based brand and kill off their tank.
