Aquarium repair

I found an aquarium I want to but, but the catch is that it was dropped on the front side and now the bottom pane is chipped on both corners. I believe it is all cosmetic as it still holds water, but I am not sure I want to take the chance. Does anyone know how to effectively replace a pane of glass on an aquarium, or does anyone know of someone that does this on the side? Also, does anyone have any ideas how to reinforce the corners to make sure I don't have a blowout? I appreciate any ideas as I really like the aquarium and am hoping to make it work.

How much are you paying for the damaged tank? Alot of whether or not its worth fixing is the relative savings compared to buying new or even another used tank of similar type/ dimension. If you are only saving a few bucks, best to avoid the heartache....

I was thinking the same thing. Repairs may be cost and time prohibitive and even then may not give you a guarantee something won't break down the road.

$50. Seemed like a fair price. It is a heavy duty tank made out of 1/2" glass. I agree on fixing a damaged tank, but the tank is nice enough that I think it might be worth it.
