lighting question, PAR

I know lighting is beast rated by par, I have a 24 inch deep tank, my options are a 96 w pc, or my 4x24w t5, this isn't permanent just till I get back on my feet, the demensions are 36x18x24 most of my rock will be in the center like and island

Depends, do the T5's have individual reflectors (Or a high quality reflector)? If you have T5's with a cheap or no reflector, and the PC's have a good reflector, I'd go with the PC's. But if the T5's have a good reflector, then T5 would win hands down.

Those Tek reflectors are good, the T5s will give you a heck of a lot more PAR.

they are not the tek ones but I from doin a lil research I think they are still better than coralife but thanks for the info I would have missed that
