Great looking tank. I would just build the led retro. I have looking at nothing but led stuff for atleast 3 weeks now and it is a easy build and not to bad price wise..much cheaper than any kit.

Agreed -- not much more than you'd pay for a good quality light to go over it.. $100, 150 max for such a small configuration..

so I haven't been able to locate the stock replacement bulbs, so coral has suffered. so upgrade time, I will never have to change them for a long time. I will be running 4xcree-xre's and retro fit them into stock housing. so here's a pic of the 2nd shipment of 3, just need the heatsink. thanks for your help Stephen(txg8gxp).

I'm thinking I need some fans had it on an hour pretty hot to touch, looks like a MH with the shimmer. now time to add new fish and coral(alot parished) as soon as my filter gets here and I mod it. thanks Stephen txg8gxp, I called him alot for advice.

Looks really good. If the heatsink is getting warm, add a cooling fan (at least point a house fan at it for now) the back of the emitter is alot hotter then you would think, if the HS is warm. Just my 2 cents.

So a lil update on the pico, im having a real bad problem with red slime, dont know what caused it ive been back tracking and only new things i added was the LED lights(shouldnt be a prob i had a 9w light before) i added the ac70(fuge). maybe the cheato from my big tank had some junk with it, dont know but its covering alot of my tank. tank was fine before new equipment.i only have one fish and couple snails and hermits, i feed every 2 days lightly.
so far ive increased the flow, ac70 is at max, might add a small pump. been removing manualy and doing more water changes. got some chemi pure from gabes last night. so ill keep this updated and see what helps.

If you just uploaded it, it takes time for them to look good. It always takes awhile when I do 1080 stuff. That little tank is cool, I like how the filter looks as big as the tank.
